The cold, the winter and the magic of cycling in this season.

We were used to putting the bike away at the first cold. Then things slowly changed and winter is becoming a reality of this sport. After all, freedom is also that of not giving a damn about what has always been done and going to see what can happen, how you feel, what you feel. Better if with a more relaxed pace, a more attentive eye to what is around us and if possible without so many hits. Maybe leaning (with care) the bicycle against the wall of a village bakery and with a stop for the sandwich under the warm rays of the sun.

«Pedaling this season is not a feat. It's a possibility that wasn't there before, a simple gesture that finds its logic precisely because winter doesn't ask for anything. No rhythm to respect, no challenge, nothing to demonstrate. Only you, the road. The rest can wait.”

Some contents:

  • The boredom (it's in the eyes of the beher). Reflections on the domain of Tadej Pogačar.
  • Look around. Elisa Longo Borghini writes about her experience in Rwanda.
  • Alessandro Autieri tells us about the emerging French talent Paul Seixas.
  • The great river, that is from the mouth of the Po to the source, to cross the landscape of the Po Valley at the beginning of winter.
  • The pedaled Eroica is told by Paolo Penni Martelli, who has been the official photographer for years.
  • We went cycling on the Mottarone, as a pretext to have a coffee at the Central Bar of Nebbiuno (VB), run by the oldest bartender in Italy, 101 years old.
  • The Tube: for one day we felt like real Pros in the MET wind tunnel.

… and much more!
