MilK Magazine is a contemporary children’s fashion and lifestyle quarterly magazine based in Paris, France.

Role-play. The theme ofthis new issue resonates with each ofus in a very special way. Tve been in a relationship for several decades without having ever tried to work on this longevity, oreven hold myself up as an example. So when the editorial team suggested exploring the notion ofthe couple and its variants (relationships that deviate from the classic path), I was intrigued.

Getting together in pairs seems like a funny idea. Why not in threes, in tribes, or even live alone? Theidea of getting together is particularly pertinent for me, since my partner in life is also my partner at work.

In this issue, you will see that the couple can take on multiple realities, and the way it is defined, is specific to each relationship. Marital couples are no longer necessarily parental couples, and personal aspirations can take shape outside traditional societal frameworks.

Here are a few examples of sometimes surprising new family models. Many thanks to all the extraordinary families in this issue.
